A merbau parquet church hall floor in Kingston repaired, sanded and finished around the hall's bookings.
About this project
The church hall's merbau parquet was used every day by community groups, and areas of loose and lifting blocks had become a trip hazard. We planned the work around services and existing bookings.
Loose blocks were lifted, cleaned and re-laid, and damaged blocks were replaced with matching merbau. The whole floor was then sanded flat with dust-free equipment.
A hard-wearing satin lacquer completes the floor, giving a warm sheen that is easy to keep clean. The hall was back in use in time for the weekend.
