Walnut Living Room Re-Oil
A dull walnut living room floor revived with a maintenance re-oil.
About this project
After a few years of family life, this walnut floor's oil finish had worn thin in front of the sofa and in the doorways. A full sand was not needed.
An intensive clean and a light buff prepared the surface. We then buffed in a maintenance oil to feed the timber and even out the colour.
The floor was ready for light use the same evening. We also recommended a simple cleaning routine and a re-oil every year or two.
